The logo design for Mandopop duo StellaVee was built around translating their musical identity into a recognisable visual mark. Since they are Mandopop singers, I incorporated their Chinese names and their personal colour preferences into the logo. The English initials “S” and “V” were abstracted to form the silhouette of a microphone, creating a symbol that reflects both performance and songwriting. I also referenced the look of neon signage as it is often associated with live music venues Animation was introduced to bring life into the neon sign logo, and they are also able to use it as an intro to their Youtube videos.
